The Yellowstone Yeti High School Hockey team was back in action over the weekend.

The Yeti would take on the Casper B team on Friday and came away with a 4-4 tie.

On Saturday, the Yeti would bounce back to capture the 4-1 win.

Up Next: The Yellowstone Yetie will return to action December 10th and 11th when they travel to Gillette.

The Yellowstone Quake Hockey team was back in action over the weekend as they played host to the Butte Cobras.

The Quake would come up short both nights, losing on Friday by a final of 4-2 and dropping Saturday’s contest 4-3.

Following the weekend’s action the Quake are now 8-13-2-1 on the seaosn and sit at 6th place in the Frontier Division.

Up Next: Quake Hockey willl be competing in the NA3HL Showcase December 18th throught the 20th.

The Northwest College Basketball teams were back in action over the weekend as they took part in the Salt Lake City Classic in Utah.

The Lady Trappers would go 1-2 over the weekend defeating an All-Star Squad.

The Men’s team would finish 2-1 over the weekend.

Following the weekend’s action the women are now 9-4 on the season while the men are 10-3.

Up Next: Both teams will take their talents to Nebraska December 9th and 10th.

The Wyoming Cowgirls had a battle on their hands Friday night in Laramie but pulled away late for a 67-59 victory in a hard-fought matchup with Montana State. The win was the Cowgirls’ second consecutive and moved UW to 4-3 overall.

The Wyoming Cowboy offense struggled late in the second half in a 66-58 loss to Grand Canyon on Saturday afternoon in the Arena-Auditorium in Laramie. A run by Grand Canyon in the final seven minutes was too much for the shorthanded Cowboys to overcome.

The Wyoming Cowboys are going bowling again this season as they have been invited to play in the Barstool Sports Arizona Bowl. Wyoming will be matched up against the Ohio Bobcats from the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The game will be played on Friday, Dec. 30 at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, Ariz., and will kick off at 2:30 p.m.
