WITH THE WEEKEND HERE MANY SPORTS TEAMS ARE BACK IN ACTION FOLLOWING THE HOLIDAY BREAK. HERE IS A RUN DOWN OF WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE BIG HORN BASIN.
CODY HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR CHARLIE BEAUDRIE WILL BE COMPETING IN THE HAWAII TIKI BOWL ON SUNDAY. BEAUDRIE WAS INVITED TO PLAY IN THE ALL-STAR SENIOR FOOTBALL GAME THAT WILL BE TAKING PLACE AT ALOHA STADIUM IN HONOLULU, HAWAII.
THE HAWAII TIKI BOWL RECRUITING STAFF SEEKS OUT HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS WHO HAVE THE ABILITY TO PLAY AT THE COLLEGE LEVEL. TEAMS ARE COACHED BY COLLEGE COACHES.
BEAUDRIE HAS SAID HE IS HONORED TO HAVE BEEN SELECTED AND GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO REPRESENT HIS TEAM, SCHOOL AND HOMETOWN.
IN OTHER CODY SPORTS ACTION THE BRONC GRAPPLERS RETURN TO THE MATS TODAY AND TOMORROW AS THEY ARE TRAVELING TO BOZEMAN MONTANA TO COMPETE IN THE BOZEMAN INVITATIONAL. MEANWHILE, THE CODY JV TEAM WILL BE HOSTING A MEET SATURDAY AT THE SWEITZER GYM.
IN MORE HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS THE WORLAND BASKETBALL TEAMS RETURN TO THE HARDWOOD HOSTING THERMOPOLIS TONIGHT. GIRLS TIP-OFF AT 5:30 FOLLOWED BY THE BOYS AT 7:30PM.
THE YELLOWSTONE QUAKE ARE BACK ON THE ICE TODAY AND TOMORROW TRAVELING TO HELENA FOR A FACE-OFF WITH THE BIGHORNS. PUCK DROPS AT 7:05PM BOTH NIGHTS.
IN THE COLLEGE RANKS, BOTH NORTHWEST COLLEGE BASKETBALL TEAMS RETURN TO THE HARDWOOD ON SUNDAY, HOSTING WILLISTON STATE COLLEGE. THE WOMEN TIP-OFF AT 12 NOON, FOLLOWED BY THE MEN AT 2PM.
THE WYOMING COWBOYS CONTINUE THEIR ROAD SWING WITH A TRIP SOUTH TO TAKE ON COLORADO STATE IN THE FIRST “BORDER WAR” MATCH-UP OF THE SEASON. THE CONTEST IS SLATED FOR AN 11 A.M.
