Sports Schedule for the week of Septeber 26th through October 1st.

Here is the weekly sports schedule for Cody and area college teams.

It is homecoming week for Cody High School and there’s plenty of activity going on.

Let’s first take a look at what sports will be broadcast live on KODI.

The Cody Bronc Football team returns home to the friendly confines of Spike Vannoy Stadium as they will play host to the Green River Wolves. This is the second to last home game of the season for the undefeated Broncs. It’s Cody vs. Green River at 7pm, pre-game underway at 6:40.

The Wyoming Cowboys return to action on Saturday October 1st as they play host to San Jose State in War Memorial Stadium at 5:30 p.m. You can listen live with pre-game underway at 4pm.

Other Cody Sports in action this week, include:

Filly Volleyball returns to conference play as they match-up with arguably their toughest test of the season, Casper Kelly Walsh. The Fillies travel to Casper for a contest with the Lady Trojans, on Thursday, at 6pm. Saturday, they will play host to Rock Springs at 2pm.

The Cody Filly Swim team will return home for the final time this (regular) season as they will play host to Powell for a dual meet, on Thursday. All the action underway at 5pm.

The Cody Cross Country teams are home for the first and only time this season as they will play host to the Cody Invite, on Thursday. All the action set to begin at 3 in the afternoon.

Over in the College Ranks…

Fresh off starting the conference season 2-0, the Northwest College Volleyball returns to action this week for just one game. They will travel to Riverton to face Central Wyoming College, on Wednesday, at 6pm.

The Northwest College Soccer teams will also be in Riverton this week to face Central Wyoming College. Those games will be Saturday with the women at 1pm, men to follow.

In the professional ranks, the Denver Broncos will take on the Las Vegas Raiders, in Vegas, for their first AFC West Divisional game of the season. The Broncos 2-1, will kick things off with the win-less Raiders at 2:25pm.
