Sports Schedule for the week of October 3rd through October 8th.

Now a look at the weekly Sports Schedule for Cody and area college teams.

We’ll first take a look at the sports that will air live on KODI.

The Cody Bronc Football team will make the trek to Afton on Friday as they square off agianst Star Valley in what proves to be a State Championship preview. Both teams have 5 wins on the season. The Broncs enter the contest on a 21 game win streak. Last time Cody lost a Football game was the 2020 season against Star Valley in Afton. Catch the call live on KODI. Pre-game at 4:40, kick-off at 5pm.

Wyoming Cowboy Football will travel to Albuquerque, N.M. to face the New Mexico Lobos on Saturday, Oct. 8. That game will kick off at 5:00 p.m., M.T. Pre-game at 3:30. Tune in for the call live on KODI.

And now a look at the rest of the Cody Sports and area college teams that are in action.

The Cody Filly Volleyball teams hit the road this weekend as they’re traveling to Southern Wyoming. They face Evanston at 4pm on Friday and will take on Green River, Saturday, at 1 in the afternoon.

The Cody Cross Country teams close out the regular season this weekend as they will take part in the Powell Invite. All that action gets underway at 3pm.

The Cody Filly Swim team will hit the road as well this weekend. They’ll be in Buffalo on Friday and Saturday. Friday’s meet gets underway at 4pm with Saturday’s invite to start at 10am.

Northwest College Volleyball has 3 matches scheduled for this week. On Tuesday, they travel to Billings, Mont., to face Rocky Mountain College JV.

Then they hit the road for a pair of conference games later in the week. Friday, they’re at Rock Springs to face Western Wyoming Community College. Saturday, they go to Casepr to face Casper College.

Both Northwest College Soccer teams will be in Casper to face Casper College on Saturday. Women at 11am, men to follow at 1pm.

And believe it or not but the Northwest College Women’s Basketball team begins play this week. They travel to Windsor, Colorado October 8th for three scrimmages at the Rocky Mountain College Jamboree.

Over on the ice, the Yellowstone Quake Hockey team returns home for the weekend as they will play host to the Gillette Wild. Catch all the action at the Riley Arena. Puck drops at 7:30pm Friday and Saturday.
