Worland Basketball With Four All-State Honorees

THE WYOMING COACHES ASSOCIATION HAS ANNOUNCED ITS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL ALL-CONFERENCE AND ALL-STATE SELECTIONS.
FOR THE WORLAND BASKETBALL TEAMS, THEY HAVE FOUR 1ST TEAM ALL-STATE HONOREES. THE LADY WARRIOR EARNING ALL-STATE IS DARLA HERNANDEZ WHILE RUDY SANFORD, LUKE MORTIMER AND MACK PAGE ALSO GARNERED ALL-STATE.
ASHLEY MCPHIE OF THERMOPOLIS WAS ANOTHER ALL-STATE AWARD WINNER FROM OUR AREA.
AND NOW FOR ALL-CONFERENCE AWARDS IN CLASS 3A IN OUR AREA.
ON THE GIRLS SIDE IN THE 3A WEST, WORLAND’S DARLA HERNANDEZ WAS ALSO NAMED 3A WEST ALL-CONFERENCE. THE OTHER LADY WARRIORS GARNERING ALL-CONFERENCE WERE KAIT WASSUM, DENALI JONES AND TYMBERLYNN CRIPPEN.
OVER IN THE 3A EAST ASHLEY MCPHIE AND MCKENNA BOMENGEN OF THERMOPOLIS GARNERED ALL-CONFERENCE HONORS.
ON THE BOYS SIDE IN THE 3A WEST, IN ADDITION TO BEING NAMED ALL-STATE, LUKE MORTIMER, RUDY SANFORD AND MACK PAGE ALSO EARNED ALL-CONFERENCE.
POWELL HAD TWO ALL-CONFERENCE HONOREES AND THEY WERE LANDON LENGFELDER AND MASON MARCHANT.
WORLAND’S LUKE MORTIMER IN ADDITION TO BEING NAMED ALL-STATE AND ALL-CONFERENCE WAS NAMED THE PLAYER OF THE YEAR IN THE 3A WEST.
OVER IN THE 3A EAST FROM OUR AREA EARNING ALL-CONFERENCE WERE DUDER HARVEY AND JARRON MORTIMORE OF THERMOPOLIS.
