Worland Boys Cross Country Results

The Warriors competed at the State 3A Cross Country Championships this past Thursday. It was a cold but sunny day in Afton Wyoming. Leading the way for the Warriors was Sophmore Jack Bishop finishing 23rd with a time of 18:27.1 followed by Senior Marcus Wiley at 25th with a time of 18:33.9. The boys team finished 6th overall in 3A  with 159 points. Rounding out the field for Worland. Senior Boe Nicholas at 29th. Senior Gavin McColloch 36th, Junior Jack Wassum 46th, Sophmore Kobe Swain 47th, and Sophmore Melvin Croft rounding out the Warrior runners at 73rd. There were 106 runners at the Afton State 3A meet. The team finished 6th overall with 159 points. The top racer in this years Championship was Peter Visser from Star Valley with a time of 15:48.8. Lander Valley won the overall team title with 45 points.
