Worland Golf at Thermopolis and Lovell

The Worland Golf team had a Best Ball Dual with Thermopolis Thursday. At the Thermopolis Golf Course.

Worland High School Boys won 319 to Hot Springs County High School Boys 321 for the overall score.

Individual Boys Results had Hot Springs Hardy Johnson with a 64. Worland High School’s Karsten Simmons with a 74, followed by WHS Jackson Dunham 75, HSHS Hadley Johnson 78, WHS Landon Gilmore 81, WHS Tyshon Swalstad 89, HSHS Seth Weyer 89, HSHS Will Clark 90, WHS Luke Voss 93, and top ten finish WHS Gavin McEndree 101.

The Best Ball results were Hardy Johnson and Will Horath of Hot Springs County 64. Karsten Simmons and Parker Bennett of Worland High School 71.

On the Girl’s side Taylor Simmons shot a 108, Rihan Rosario 116, and Sam Keller 118. Hot Springs High School’s Ki Kraushaar shot a 129.

At the Lovell Invitational which  had Worland, Cody, Powell, Thermopolis, and Lovell facing each other at Foster Gulch Golf Course.

The star of the round was Lovell’s Erika Cook and her 70. Cody’s Hunter Hall with his 74 edging Worland High School’s Karsten Simmons by 1 stroke.

Simmons with his 75, Landon Gilmore 82, Jackson Dunham 77, Tyshon Swalstead 87, and Luke Voss 91.

The Worland boys would win the invite by 31 strokes over Lovell. Worland 412, Lovell 443, Cody 468, Hot Springs 481, and Powell 528.

Taylor Simmons shoots a 116, Rihan Rosario 126, Sam Keller 121 for a 363 Team Score. Lovell won the Girls Team Event with a 277.

Next week the Golf Team will be in Riverton.
