Worland Track And Field At The Meet-ster Bunny Invite On Monday

The Worland High School Track and Field Team was at the Cody Meet-ster Bunny Invite on Monday.
Cody, Powell, Sheridan, Kelly Walsh, and Worland were the competing teams.
Several Worland Athletes Qualified for State in just the 2nd meet of the season.
Manaia Peterson in the Shot Put, Shae Whitlock in the 300 Hurdles, Kalistynn Crippen in the 100 Meter Dash, Cherise Douzenis in the 400 Meter Dash, and Zena Tapia in the 3200 Meter.
The Girl’s Sprint Medley team of Maddy Lloyd, Lecsi Ramirez, Macy Newell, and Zena Tapia set a new school record with a 4:27.3 finishing 2nd.
The Girl’s 4X100 team of Maddy Lloyd, Kalistynn Crippen, Nyssa Leyva, and Erika Manahan finished 3rd, Trajn Swaltad in 1600, and the Boy’s 4X100 relay team Cale Cheatam, Ethene Burns, Wyatt Dickinson, and Angel Ruels also Qualified for State finishing 2nd in Cody.
In the results for the Girls in the 100 Meter, Kalistynn Crippen was 4th, Maddy Loyd was 6th, Erika Manahan was 9th, Nyssa Leyva was 11th, and Shae Whitlock was 14th.
The Girls 200 Meter saw 3 Lady Warriors finish in the top 5, Douzenis 2nd, Lloyd 3rd, and Crippen 4th.
Two Lady Warriors finished in the top 5 in the 400 Meter Douzenis 2nd, and Leyva 5th.
Zena Tapia won the Girl”s 3200 and finished 5th in the 800 Meter.
Ana Richardson finished 7th in the 100 Meter Hurdles and 9th in the 300 Meter Hurdles.
Shae Whitlock was 9th in the 100 Meter Hurdles and 3rd in the 300 Meter Hurdles.
In the 4X400 the team of Whitlock, Manahan, Isaira Matamoros, and Leyva finished 4th.
The Long Jump had Crippen finishing 5th.
Cherise Douzenis finished 5th in the Long Jump.
Maddy Glanz finished 3rd in the Triple Jump.
Manaia Peterson was 6th in the Shot Put and 9th in the Discus.
For the Boy’s Results.
Angel Ruelas finished 6th in the 100 Meter Dash and would win the 200 Meter Dash.
Cale Cheatham finished 7th in the 200 Meter.
Harley Redding won the Boy’s 400 Meter Dash.
Jack Bishop finished 2nd in the 800 Meter Run.
Trajn Swalstad was 6th in the 800 Meter and 3rd in the 1600 Meter.
Both Scottie Thomas and Ivan Thomas finished 4th and 5th in the 3200 Meter.
Noah Mitchell was 7th in the 110 Meter Hurdles and 6th in the 300 Meter Hurdles.
