Worland Warrior Wrestling Put 6 On The Podium

The Worland Warrior Wrestling Team Finished the 2023 Season with 6 on the Podium and a State Champion.
Worland finished 6th as a team with 128 points.
Green River won the Wyoming 3A Team State Championship followed by Cody, Evanston, and Pinedale.
Junior Wyatt Dickenson finished 6th in the 120 lb weight class going 3-2 during the State Tournament.
At the 126 lb weight class Senior Kobe Swain got 6th as well, also going 3-2.
Sophomore Tillman Burns won 3rd place in the 132 lb weight class, wrestling 6 matches at the State Tournament going 5-1, beating number 3 ranked Brayden Torstenbo from Rawlins.
At the 145 lb weight class Senior Ross Goncalves wrestled for a State Title, Ross faced 2-time State Champion Thomas Dalton from Green River.
Goncalves would lose by decision and finish Runner-Up and All-State in the 145 lb class.
Senior Noa Vega would go the hard way by wrestling 6 matches in the State Tournament.
Vega would finish with a 4-2 record for the Tournament earning 4th place on the State Podium, he had a 41-13 overall record for the season.
Worland Warrior State Champion at the 195 lb weight class Senior Nathan Harper.
Harper went 4-0 at the Wyoming 3A State Wrestling Tournament winning the Title in a 2:47 minute pin of number 4 ranked Lance Rabel from Buffalo.
Nate is a State Champion and All-State Finisher.
