Fall 2020 Hunting Draw on June 18th
Written by Andrew-Rossi on June 17, 2020
The Big Draw is almost here.
At 10 am on June 18th, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will be making draw results available for the Fall 2020 big game hunting season. This is when everyone who applied for resident elk, deer, and antelope – in addition to nonresident deer and antelope – will find out exactly what they’ll be pursuing. The results of the draw will be available to check online.
For those successful in the draw, they can begin planning their hunts. Updated maps of the hunt areas, scouting locations, harvest odds, and more are available online from the Wyoming Hunt Planner. Other steps may be required. Each hunter needs a valid Conservation Stamp, a special archery license if they plan to hunting during the special archery season, and a National Elk Refuge Permit – if you intend to hunt there.
Those unlucky this year will have the license fee credit applied back to the credit card they used to apply – they should see the refund in their accounts 7 to 10 days business days after June 18. If applicants used a pre-paid card, a refund check will be mailed in the name of the applicant. Applications for leftover licenses will open on June 22nd thru the 26th; the leftover list will be posted on June 18 at the same time as the draw results.
Hunters also can still apply for the Wyoming Super Tag and Super Tag Trifecta until July 1. For any questions or concerns, contact Game and Fish at (307) 777-4600 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. MT.
