#WY307 Celebrates Wyoming

Few places motivate state pride as effectively as Wyoming – and today we celebrate our state with a unique social media campaign.

Tourism officials say that March 7, otherwise known as 307 Day, encourages residents to share their love for Wyoming on social media.  AnnaMarie Victor, social media coordinator for the Cody Chamber of Commerce, says celebrating the best of our state on social media encourages tourism, which helps to boost local economies.

To participate in the 307 Day celebration, Victor says Wyoming residents can post photos of Wyoming across social media using hashtags that will allow others to find and share the same types of posts.

Officials say because the state has only one area code, the social media campaign not only promotes tourism, but also allows Wyomingites to come together virtually to show love for their home.
