WYDOT Sealing Project Begins Outside Meeteetse

Next week will be construction-heavy along WYO 120.
In addition to the Cody South Project – slated to beginning its work in earnest this Friday – another $2.6 million dollar pavement improvement project begins outside Meeteetse. The Meeteetse Rim Project is a fog seal and chip seal project along 5.4 miles of WY 120, beginning north of Meeteetse, just west of Greybull River Road to north of Meeteetse Rim – milepost 63.065.
McGarvin-Moberly Construction Company of Worland is the prime contractor for the job. You should know the drill by now – expected delays and reduced speed limits through the work zones, and be extra alert for any workers or equipment working along the route.
Both the Cody South and Meeteetse Rim Projects will be relatively quick improvements on WY120. While the Cody South Project is eyeing a completion date of October 31st of this year – with a one-week delay around July 4th – the entire Meeteetse Rim Project should be completed by June 30th.
