Wyoming Job Growth Predicted

Wyoming is projecting to add more than 5,000 jobs in the next two years.

According to the most recent projections from the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, the state could increase its workforce from 275,000 jobs to 280,000 by the end of 2020.

At the industry level, job growth is forecast for all sectors, with the exception of construction, retail trade, information, and government. The highest forecasted job growth is projected in mining, at 7.9%; Wholesale trade is projected to increase by 6.7%; transportation and warehousing could go up by 4.3%; and there could be a 2.5% increase in Accommodation & Food Services.
