Wyoming Legion District Tournaments

The 2021 Wyoming Legion District Tournaments get underway today. The East District Tournament will take place in Wheatland while the Cody Cubs take part in the West District Tourney in Cowley.
The Cubs enter the District tournament as the no. 1 seed out of the Northwest with a 36-15 overall record.
The Powell Pioneers are the No. 2 seed out of the Northwest with a 27-9 overall record while Lovell is the No. 3 seed, 16-20 overall
In the Southwest, Green River garnered the No. 1 seed with a 19-16 overall record.
Rawlins is the No. 2 seed at 5-21 while Buffalo is the No. 3 seed at 2-23.
District tournament play officially gets underway today. Powell takes on Buffalo at 4pm with the winner to face Green River.
It’s Lovell vs. Rawlins at 7pm.
The winner of Lovell vs. Rawlins will face the Cody Cubs on Saturday at 1 in the afternoon.
