Yellowstone’s East Entrance Closes November 4th
Written by Andrew-Rossi on October 31, 2019
This is Cody’s last weekend to access Yellowstone in the 2019 Season.
Yellowstone’s East Entrance will close at 8 am on Monday, along with the West and South Entrances. This is part of the routine procedures for the winter season, and it allows them to prepare for snowmobile and snow coach traffic, which will begin cruising into the park on December 15th.
If you plan to take advantage of the last weekend in the 2019 Season, you will need flexible travel plans and preparations for changing weather conditions. Travel restrictions or closures can occur at any time without warning. Visit the National Park Service’s website Park Roads for the status of Yellowstone roads, and you can receive Yellowstone road alerts on your mobile phone.
As usual, the North Entrance will remain open year-round, weather permitting.
