Written by Andrew-Rossi on November 15, 2018
Yellowstone National Park had its third busiest October ever.
Yellowstone hosted just over 218,000 visits in October of 2018. This is about a 2.9 percent increase from October of last year, making it the third busiest October on record.
So far in 2018, the park has hosted almost 4 million, seven hundred ninety thousand visits, which is down just 0.15 percent from the same period last year.
With the increase in October, year-to-date visitation in 2018 is roughly 29 percent higher than it was five years ago, and just 3 percent lower than it was in 2016, the park’s record year for visitation.
