The Big Horn County Commissioners on Monday selected Marcia Bean to replace current county attorney Kim Adams.
According to an article in the Greybull Standard, Bean, who is the current deputy and prosecuting attorney in Hot Springs County, will take over the position on June 2nd. Adams’ last day is set to be June 1st.
The Big Horn County Republican Party had provided the commissioners a list of three candidates to consider. Those three were former Big Horn County Attorney Michelle Burns, Bean and Kim Mickelson, who currently works in the County Attorney’s office.
The three candidates were interviewed on Monday by two of the commissioners, Felix Carrizales and Deb Craft, who ultimately chose Bean as the new County Attorney.
