Beartooth Highway Closed for Season

Thanks to the precipitation falling this morning, a scenic highway has closed for the season.
The Beartooth Highway will be closing today, due to the inclement weather that is expected through the next several days. This closure will be from Red Lodge to Cooke City, and will stay in place until next May 24th.
An alternate route for travelers going to Cooke City or Yellowstone Park’s Northeast Entrance would be Chief Joseph Highway to U.S. 212, then West on 212 to Cooke City.
