Written by on March 29, 2018

Yesterday’s wet weather didn’t dampen the spirits of the volunteers working at the Habitat for Humanity worksite in Cody.
Over 20 employees of Black Hills Energy volunteered at the build site off of 29th Street in Cody that will eventually become the home of Kira Schoonover and her young daughter. Jaime Schmeiser, director of Mountain Spirit Habitat for Humanity, expressed her gratitude to the company and its staff, saying that they were, quote, “great neighbors,” endquote.

Schmeiser also extended an invitation to other individuals or groups of volunteers, pointing out that whether an organization’s goals might be team building, gaining exposure for your business or simply to get together as a group with some of your favorite people, by volunteering with Mountain Spirit Habitat for Humanity, you will make a difference in the community.
