Boat Docks Pulled from Sunshine
Written by Andrew-Rossi on November 10, 2017
With winter weather upon us, the time for fishing at the Sunshine Reservoirs west of Meeteetse with your boat is over.
Anglers are advised that the boat docks at Upper and Lower Sunshine Reservoirs west of Meeteetse have been pulled out of the water and are no longer available to boaters.
Cody Region Habitat and Access Supervisor Brad Sorensen said that the docks are pulled out of the water every winter so they don’t sustain damage from ice. He says it lengthens the life of the dock, and the docks will be placed back in the water as soon as ice off occurs in the spring and water levels rise.
