BREAKING NEWS: Cody Fire Department Responds to Fire Along WY 14

Multiple fire trucks responded to the fire along the Powell Highway, with high smoke plumes clearly visible from the Powell Highway.

The fire started at approximatley 5:00 p.m. near County Road 2Ec, about a mile outside of Cody.
Terry Michael with KZMQ captured photos and video of the fire. Firefighters from the Cody Fire Department haved responded with several of their trucks.
It is currently unclear whether any property was threatened by the fire.
No details available were immediately available from emergency officials, but this story will be updated as new information is released.
