Bronc Football Throttles Bison in Home Opener

Cody gained over 500 total yards of offense, Chaz Cowie and Drew Trotter combined to score five touchdowns and the Broncs throttled Buffalo 49-14, Friday night, to improve to 3-0 on the season, sweeping non-conference play.
The Broncs would get on the board early and often, scoring 35 first half points. They would score 21 in the first quarter and 14 in the second quarter. Drew Trotter Luke Talich would connect with Drew Trotter on a 21 yard touchdown over the middle with three seconds before the halftime buzzer.
Following the Talich would connect with Kellon George on the biggest play of the night, a 64 yard touchdown pass on third and 9 to push the lead to 42-0. Cody would score 49 unanswered before Buffalo’s Ben Camino found the end zone in garbage time.
Luke Talich would finish the night unofficially throwing for 269 yards on 16-28 passing and had two passing touchdowns.
Cowie finished the nigh rushing for 93 yards, unofficially, on 11 carries and had two rushing touchdowns.
Trotter ran for 85 yards on the ground, unofficially, had one rushing touchdown and two catching.
And Jackson Schroeder had 60 yards on the ground and one TD.
With the win, Cody improves to 3-0 on the season and sweeps non-conference play.
