City of Cody Reminds Residents of Summer Schedules for Water and Waste
Written by Andrew-Rossi on April 28, 2022
As the seasons finally change, the City of Cody reminds residents of important dates and details for two important city services – raw water and yard waste.
The City of Cody wants its residents to be aware of some simple civic responsibilities as summer approaches. Recently, the City posted information on Facebook about important upcoming days and dates for water and yard waste.
The City asks that everyone’s raw water valves be closed by Sunday, May 1.
Beginning May 2, a new watering schedule will take effect. The schedule affects both raw water and water policy customers.
- Even-numbered addresses will be watered on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday
- Odd-numbered addresses will be watered on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday
Monday is a non-watering day for all water customers.
The City will also begin collecting yard waste on Thursdays this summer, provided it’s done at the right time.
The City of Cody has set 2022’s yard waste rollouts between Thursday, May 5, and Oct. 27. All yard-waste rollouts will be emptied on Thursday – and must be out for pickup by 7:00 a.m. every Thursday.
Holidays will likely alter the schedule. A calendar with all the needed dates is available on the City of Cody website.
