Cody Broncs 5th, Fillies 11th at State Track

The Cody Track teams were in Casper for the 4A State Track and Field Championship Meet, over the weekend.
The Broncs would finish in 5th place while the Fillies took 11th.
Let’s take a look at some of the top performers, startin with the Broncs: Looking specifically at medal winners (top 8).
Luke Talich would lead the way for the Cody Broncs, setting a new school record in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.07 and finished 2nd overall. Talich would also take second in the 100 and the Long Jump.
A.J. Baustert was 8th in the 100.
Graidin Arnold would finish 4th in the 300 Hurdles.
Robby Porter took second in the High Jump.
Dillon Brost was 5th in the Pole Vault.
Drew Trotter was 6th in the Discuss and the 4×100 relay team took 3rd.
As for the Fillies, the highlight of the meet for them was the 4×800 relay team of Mekenzie Clark, Taylen Stinson, Ava Stafford and Ada Nelson, taking first place with a time of 9:49.37.
The 4×400 relay team finished in 5th while the Sprint Medley Relay took 6th.
Nelson would also finish 3rd in the 800 and 5th in the 400.
Stinson was 6th in the 1600 as well.
Emileigh Dalton was 8th in the Pole Vault.
