Cody Broncs Pummel Riverton to Open Season 1-0

Jackson Schroeder and Luke Talich each had a pair of rushing Touchdowns and the Broncs ran all over Riverton Friday night, 49-0, as Cody opens the 2022 season 1-0.
The Broncs accumulated 550 total yards of offense, 389 rushing and 162 passing.
Cody jumped all over Riverton as they led 28-0 after one quarter of play. The Broncs extended the lead 35-0 at the half.
The Broncs would score a pair of touchdowns early in the third quarter, in the first 3 minutes, and put up a shutout in a tremendous opeing season win.
Schroeder scored the first two touchdowns of the game and finished with24 yards rushing.
Talich then followed with two of his own, both 40 plus yard runs. He ended up with 110 yards on the ground. He also completed 10 passes for 131 yards.
Matt Nelson had 114 rushing yards. The big one of the night was a 73 yard TD run.
Maddox Ball had a touchdown pass to Dominic Phillips.
Warren Sorensen had a fumble recovery for a Touchdown after Talich forced the fumble.
Wilkins Radakovich finished with 4 catches for about 61 yards.
Cody Bronc Football officially begins the season 1-0.
Up Next: They will play host to Worland next Friday, September 9th. Kick-off at 7pm.
