Cody Country Car Show’s 10th Anniversary Takes Place on August 26th

The Cody Country Car Show staff would like to invite folks to join the celebration for the 10th anniversary of the 3-day car show event in downtown Cody, WY. The show takes place at Cody City Park on Sheridan Ave.

Starting on Friday night, August 26th, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, “registered car participants” can enjoy a complimentary dinner. Hungry Bear Restaurant will be serving their awesome Street Tacos with “all the fixings.” There will be a parade through town and there will be a Poker Run at 7:00 pm, which is open to the public. Poker Run registration opens Friday night.  Poker Run costs $5.00 per hand.

Additionally, enjoy some free ice cream at City Park after the Poker Run.

On Saturday, August 27th, the Show-N-Shine starts at 10:00 am. Judging takes place from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm with raffle items given out at 2:00 pm followed by an awards ceremony. “Stay Saturday night and enjoy all that Cody has to offer,” Cody Country Car Show says.

On Sunday, August 28th, registered car participants can once again have breakfast provided by Hungry Bear Restaurant (2706 Bighorn Ave.). Further, registered car participants can then join in a cruise up the beautiful North Fork Valley toward Yellowstone National Park.

Moose Creek Lodge is the “host motel,” which is located at 1015 Sheridan Ave. across from Cody City Park.

According to information provided by Cody Country Car Show: “We have locked down all 48 rooms for Friday night for Car Participants ONLY.  Mention the Cody Country Car Show. Room Rates for Friday night are discounted by 25% ranging from $120 to $165 depending on bed size and bed quantity. Room rates for Thursday night and Saturday night are discounted 20% ranging from $127 to $175 depending on bed size and bed quantity.”

For those registered by August 22nd, 2022, there will be a chance to win one of three large raffle prizes. Those who register for the Poker Run will have a chance to win half the Poker Run Pot, plus an additional raffle prize.

Finally, Cody Country Car Show asks, “To help us serve you we ask that you please check the box on the registration slip if you will be joining us for Friday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast along with how many are attending.”

“We want to make sure we order enough food for everyone. We ask that you list a head count on the registration form. NOTE: we will serve a family of 4, which is 2 adults and 2 kids. If you have more than 2 kids, contact Ken for the price of additional meals. Extra meals are available, please contact Ken.”
