Cody Cowboy Christmas Saturday

The Cody Cowboy Christmas & the Lighted Christmas Parade are coming up this Saturday, November 24th, and organizers are asking for participation from citizens and businesses to make this a celebration to remember.
This traditional event takes place the weekend after Thanksgiving and coincides with Small Business Saturday. On Saturday Sheridan Avenue will shut down from 4 to 8 p.m. for downtown events and the lighted Christmas parade at 6pm.
Cody Chamber Director Tina Hoebelheinrich points out that between the shopping cart races, the scavenger hunt, hay rides and community Advent service downtown, the Christmas stroll brings a sense of tradition to the community.
And Hoebelheinrich points out that making a point to shop locally for holiday gifts helps to support the small businesses that make up the backbone of our community.
Hoebelheinrich adds that if you or someone you know wants to have a float in Saturday’s parade, forms are available to download. Signed and completed forms are due in to the Chamber office by 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 21st.
