Cody Cubs go 3-2 at Gallatin Valley Outlaw Tournament

The Cody Cubs were in Three Forks, Mont., this weekend for the Gallatin Valley Tournament.
The Cubs would go 3-2 over the three days, playing against 5 different legion teams out of Montana.
Cody got wins against Gallatin Valley, Lewistown and Dillon. The Cubs would fall to Havre and the Bitterroot Red Sox.
The Cubs got the tourney underway against Havre, falling by a final score of 7-1.
In the nightcap of their first day, the Cubs would bounce back coming away with a big 9-6 win.
On day 2, the Cubs would battle the elements as there were multiple rain delays.
The Cubs got the action underway knocking off Lewistown 4-2. Then Cody showed their resilience, coming back from down five to beat the Cubs of Dillon by a final of 8-5.
Cody would fall in their final game of the tourney to the Bitterroot Red Sox, 9-1.
Following the weekend’s action, the Cubs are now 14-7 on the season.
Up Next: Cody will play host to the Sheridan Troopers for a double header, on Tuesday, with first pitch at 4pm. On Wednesday, the Cubs host the Billings Blue Jays for a twin bill, beginning at 5pm.
