Cody Cubs Season Update

As we hit the month of July, it’s hard to believe but the Legion Baseball season is already onto its home stretch. The Cody Cubs have been fantastic this season going 23-16 prior to an extend break over the 4th of July Weekend. The Cubs sit atop the Northwest “A” conference with a 4-0 league record. It was a busy June for Cody who played 31 of their 39 total games in the month. From the 20th to the 29th Cody played in 13 total games, so having the 4th off for a little R&R isn’t a bad things. Prior to the weekend I caught up with Head Coach Bart Grenz to get an evaluation of this team up to this point.
The 4th of July weekend is upon us. Up to this point in the season, the Cubs have supplied fans with plenty of fireworks of their own. To celebrate accordingly here’s some of the biggest hits by the Cubs this season.
The Cubs return to action, Tuesday July 5th when they travel to Cowley for a double header vs. the Lovell Mustangs. First pitch scheduled for 5pm.
