Cody Delivers McDonald’s and Walgreens Thru DoorDash App

Cody has officially jumped on the bandwagon, with local restaurants and franchises offering free delivery through the DoorDash app.
DoorDash now has an official presence in Cody. The app-based delivery services offer free delivery from area restaurants and stores nationwide. Major franchises and local entities that don’t have in-house delivery services are the app’s main participants.
As of December 31, 2020, the platform served 450,000 merchants, 20,000,000 consumers, and 1 million deliverers. Its revenue in 2020 was nearly $3 billion.
DoorDash was one of the few companies booming during the pandemic. With statewide quarantines in place, it’s easy to see the allure of having local food delivered directly to you.
As of Wednesday, March 31, five Cody-area locations are offering free delivery thru DoorDash.
Three franchises are currently participating in Cody: McDonald’s, Subway, and Walgreens. All of the locations offer free food delivery and – in Walgreen’s case – snacks, medicine, and personal care products within 30 minutes.
Fat Racks BBQ and Thai Thai Restaurant are the only local-based restaurants on the app and the “newest” entity to join.
Other local restaurants may be included in the future – should they chose to join.
It’s easy enough to use – download the DoorDash app on your phone or visit their website. Full menus and itemized lists are available on both platforms – just add it to your cart, type in your address, and check out.
