“Cody Regional Health” Unveiled

Written by on December 19, 2017

A new name for the region’s primary medical complex will more accurately represent the health care services available to the Big Horn Basin.
That’s what the CEO of West Park Hospital told members of the Cody Chamber of Commerce yesterday, unveiling the new overarching brand, Cody Regional Health.
Doug McMillan, CEO of Cody Regional Health, told Cody Club attendees that the West Park Hospital District has served its local community well since it first opened as Cody Hospital in 1940, but over the past 15 years, they’ve expanded, making them much more than just a hospital.

McMillan clarified that the name change will better reflect the organization’s full scope of services provided by the individual operations that are included in the West Park Hospital District. Those include The Spirit Mountain Hospice House, The Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center, The Cathcart Health Center, The Long Term Care Center, The Cedar Mountain Center, and other entities that now fall under the umbrella of Cody Regional Health.

He says that full implementation of the new overarching identity will be phased in over the next 12-18 months, and people can expect to see changes such as a new and improved website and new signage at all their various locations.
