Cody Tennis First Week Recap

The Cody Bronc and Filly tennis teams were in action for the first time this year, last weekend.

Last Friday, the two teams traveled to Gillette to take on Thunder Basin and Campbell County.

Against Thunder Basin, the Broncs would go 4-1 while the Fillies went 2-3.

Vs. Campbell County, the Broncs finished 2-3 with the Fillies 1-4.

On Saturday, both teams squared off against Green River and Rock Springs.

Against both Green River and Rock Springs, the Broncs would finish 5-0.

The Fillies would go 2-3 vs. Green River while defeating Rock Springs 3-0. Two Filly matches vs. the Lady Tigers were deemed incomplete due to rain out.

The Cody tennis teams returned to action Tuesday as they made the trek down to Jackson.

In Jackson the Broncs would go 3-2 while the Fillies finished 2-3.

For the Broncs, all three doubles teams would pick up victories.

For the Fillies, it was Raegaen Staggs and Anna Brenner, their two singles players coming away victorious.
