Cody Volleyball Wins Border War Championship

The Cody Filly Volleyball team finished the weekend as Border War Champions.

It was the home opener for the Fillies, who went 5-0 over the weekend. Cody did not lose a set in the tournament.

The Fillies would go 3-0 on Friday and picked up two more wins on Saturday.

Friday:

Cody over Laurel Mt.   25-18, 25-22, 25-13

Cody over Sidney Mt.   25-8, 25-13, 25-12

Cody over Hardin Mt.  25-17, 25-8, 25-19

Saturday:

Cody over Billings Central Mt.  25-17, 25-16, 26-24

Cody over Billings Lockwood  25-7, 25-6, 25-6

Wyoming wins the State competition over Montana 17 games to 11

Following the weekend’s action, the Fillies are now 11-2 on the season.

Up Next: The Fillies travel to Red Lodge on Thursday for a 6pm match. On Friday the Fillies host Riverton at 6pm. On Saturday, Cody Volleyball is at Sheridan for a 2pm matinee.
