THE CODY WRESTLING TEAM WAS IN MILES CITY, MONTANA OVER THE WEEKEND COMPETING IN THE 62ND ANNUAL COWBOY INVITATIONAL. THE BRONCS FINISHED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACK WITH 68 TEAM POINTS.
LOOKING AT SOME INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES FOR THE CODY GRAPPLERS. LEADING THE WAY FOR THE BRONCS WAS CHARLIE BEAUDRIE WHO WENT 11-1 AND PLACED 2ND AT 182 POUNDS. BEAUDRIE LOST BY DECISIONS VS MOORCROFT’S ROWDY PFEIL IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH.
BRADY DEMING WOULD GO 4-2 OVER THE WEEKEND AND WOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE 7TH PLACE MATCH WHERE HE WOULD GO UP AGAINST CONNER ANDRESS OF HETTINGER/SCRANTON AND COME AWAY WITH A WIN BY DECISION.
IN THE HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION AT 285 POUNDS JEFF WILLIAMS WOULD GO UP AGAINST ZAC MALCOLM OF BILLINGS WEST HIGH SCHOOL AND LOST BY FALL 2-3.
THE CODY GRAPPLERS ARE BACK ON THE MATS TUESDAY JANUARY 14TH WHEN THEY TRAVEL TO LAUREL MONTANA.
