Concert Raises Funds for St. Jude

Written by on August 24, 2018

A concert this evening in front of the Irma Hotel will raise funds for a national charity.
The free street concert will feature Darci Carlson, who was named the Ameripolitan Outlaw Female of the Year last year, a genre that is influenced by rockabilly, honky tonk and western swing style music. Carlson, along with Sissy Brown, will be the musical entertainment at an event that will raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
The event is being sponsored by the Big Horn Radio Network, which throws its philanthropical efforts towards St. Jude each year with events such as the Country Cares for St. Jude Kids radiothon and the St. Jude Celebrity Dinner each April.
Jed Burns, Sales Manager for the Big Horn Radio Network, says that St. Jude is a charity worthy of support.
The free concert this evening begins at 6 p.m., and VIP seating can be reserved by calling the Irma Hotel at 587-4221.
