Saturday:
The Cubs and the Outlaws were back at it Saturday night as the two teams would meet for the 2nd time in as many days.

Cody would take the lead for the first time in the 5th, coming away with a pair of runs scored and held on for the 5-3 victory.
Jace Jarrett picked up the win for Cody as he pitched 5 solid innings, gave up 3 runs (2 earned) and struck out 3. Jayvin McAlmond would pick up the save.

Sunday:
On Sunday, the final day of the tourney, the Cubs had arguably their best performance of the weekend.

The Cubs would get 3-runs across in both the 3rd and 4th innings to take a 6-0 lead. Trey Thomasson would supply the fireworks hitting his first home run of his career, a grand slam, which gave Cody the win in 6 innings.

Following all the weekend’s action the Cubs are now 28-17 on the season. Again, the Cubs have clinched the Northwest “A” conference and will be the No. 1 seed at the District Tournament next week in Green River.
Up Next: It’s hard to believe but the Cubs have just 4 games left this season. On Tuesday, they play host to their Park County Rivals, the Powell Pioneers. The Cubs will close out the regular season on Wednesday hosting a team out of Billings.
