East Entrance Road Improvements Going Well

So far, so good, as far as the road improvement process between Cody and Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone National Park is concerned.
Cody’s Chamber of Commerce Director, Tina Hoebelheinrich, told listeners to KODI’s Partyline Show yesterday that the Fishing Bridge project is complete, and the repairs should last for at least another 20 years.
Hoebelheinrich notes that road work is expected to continue this fall on the Pelican Creek project, which has been expanded to preserve the wetland habitat on the north side of the highway.
She adds that although last year the National Park Service closed the east entrance early, in mid-October, the road improvement project will not require an early closure this year.
