Elk’s Hoop Shoot Success

The Worland Elks’s Lodge 1908 hosted it’s annual Hoop Shoot contest at Worland Middle School Tuesday night. The Elks Hoop Shoot is a free throw shooting contest for ages 8-13 held annually for nearly 50 years Nationally.
The winners for each category : 8-9 year old boys Garrett Davis he shot 15 of 25. 10-11 boys Kaden Davis who shot 15 of 25, and the 12-13 boys winner was Beckett Tharp who shot 21 of 25.
The winner of the girls categories : 10-11 year old was Sarah Dietz who shot 5 for 25 and won in a tiebreaker with 3 of 5 shots. Samantha Pierce won the 12-13 year old with 13 for 25 shots made.
