Fathers Day Gift Struggles
Written by Mac Morey on June 10, 2021
Our society as a whole has seemed to have figured out a menu of gift ideas for Mothers Day that are suitable from year to year, but that is not the case when it comes to Fathers Day.
Whether it’s a nice bouquet of flowers, a well-worded card, or some chocolate and a big hug, getting a gift for your mom isn’t the hardest thing to do. That doesn’t negate how meaningful and thoughtful a card and some flowers can be, it’s just that the rubric has already been made.
There is no algorithm yet crafted for gifting your dad on their day, so it becomes some sort of the annual guessing game.
Until now.
A recent survey came out stating that a whopping 98% of dads would love to receive tools on their day of appreciation.
So if you are anything like me and find yourself at the local Walgreens on that Saturday night perusing aimlessly from aisle to aisle we can save it for Christmas now because we have our solution.
Take a trip to the local handyman store and go get your pops a nice drill or power tool.
If your dad falls in that two percent, Fathers Day Eve frantic shopping may be your perennial solution. I assume he likes food so maybe a gift card to his favorite restaurant wouldn’t be a bad idea.
