Fee-Free Weekend at National Parks

In honor of National Park Week, Saturday and Sunday are fee-free at Yellowstone and Bighorn Canyon National Parks.
Beginning tomorrow, select roads in Yellowstone will open to wheeled vehicles. Those include Mammoth Hot Springs to Norris, Madison to Old Faithful, Madison to West Entrance and Norris to Canyon Village. At that time, Visitor Centers will be open at Canyon, Old Faithful and West Yellowstone.
However, Park officials caution that especially at this time of year, winter weather driving conditions can occur at any time and are occasionally not forecast.
Bighorn Canyon is celebrating National Parks Week as well as Arbor Day with the Lovell fifth grade today from 12:30 to 2:30 at Armory Park.
