Fillies 2nd, Broncs 4th at 4A West Regional Track Meet

The Cody Track teams were in Casper over the weekend taking part in the 4A West Regional Track and Field Championship Meet.

The Fillies would finish in 2nd as a team while the Broncs were 4th.

The top 8 in individual events and top 4 in relays advance to State.

Taking a look at the top individual performers, looking at top 8, starting with the Fillies:

Allie Broussard finished 2nd in the 100.

Holly Spiering was 5th in the 200.

Ada Nelson won the 400 with a time of 59.22 and finished 2nd in the 800.

Mekenzie Clark was 5th in the 800.

Taylen Stinson was 3rd in the 1600.

Callie Shelton was 5th in the 100 hurdles.

The 4×800 Meter Relay team took 1st with a time of 9:51.18. The Sprint Medley Relay team was 2nd while the 4×400 relay took 4th and the 4×100 relay was 5th.

Lake Harrison was 5th in the High Jump

Holly Spiering was 4th in the Long Jump while Hayley Pearson-Horner was 5th.

Emileigh Dalton was 3rd in the Pole Vault with Hailey Holeman 5th and Laura Phillips was 5th in the Discus.

As for the Broncs, again looking at top 8 placers:

Luke Talich would have himself a day. Talich placed first in four events. He won the 100, 200, took first in the Long Jump and helped the 4×100 relay team take first.

A.J. Baustert was 5th in the 100 with Dillon Brost 6th.

Baustert would finish 6th in the 200 with Brost 8th.

Ben Stewart was 8th in the 3200.

Graidin Arnold was 2nd in the 300 hurdles with Ben Hogan 8th.

Again the 4×100 relay team was 1st. The 4×400 Relay team took 5th with the 4×800 team 4th.

Robby Porter was 2nd in the High Jump with Maddax Ball 7th and Blake Beardall 8th.

Dillon Brost was 3rd in the Pole Vault.

Drew Trotter was 7th in the Discus.

Trotter was 5th in the Shot Put with Jonny Williams 8th.
