Fillies 4-Peat as State XC Champions, Broncs Finish 3rd

The Cody Fillies are State Champions once again, claiming victory, on Saturday, at the Class 3A State Meet at Wyoming Indian.
That’s now 4 years in a row that the Fillies have won the Class 3A State Title.
With the win the Fillies have now won 6 total team titles. With the win the Fillies become just the 4th Wyoming Girls Cross Country team to win 4 State Titles or more in a row.
The Fillies had 4 runners finish in the top 20.
Leading the way for the Fillies was Taylen Stinson, who took 3rd place individually.
Ava Stafford, last year’s State Champion took 10th. Mercedes Jackson was 11th and Keira Jackson was 17th. Zelma Rudd finished 22nd and Kylee Silva was 23rd.
As for the Broncs they would bring home hardware as well, as they finished in 3rd as a team.
They had 4 runners finish in the top 20 as well.
Leading the way for the Broncs was Charlie Hulbert, who took 3rd place individually.
Ben Stewart would finish in 6th. Riley Nielson took 12th and David Juergens finished 19th.
