Filly Alpine Skiers 3rd at State, Broncs 4th

The Cody Downhill ski teams were in Jackson over the weekend taking part in the State Alpine Ski meet.

The Fillies would finish 3rd at State with the Broncs finishing 4th. Jackson won both team titles.

Taking a look at Friday’s Giant Slalom Results.

The Fillies had four skiers finish in the top 20, led by Aspen Kalkowski who took 7th with a time of 1:38.17.

Allie Broussard was 9th with a time of 1:44.12.

Catherine Lovera was 11th with a time of 1:50.17.

Gill Growney was 16th with a time of 2:01.52.

As for the Broncs, they had four skiers finish in the top 20 during Friday’s Giant Slalom. Logan Ross led the way, finishing 9th with a time of 1:43.33.

Sterling Banks and Ryan Decker were 11th and 12th with times of 1:43.61 and 1:46.04.

Aidan Gallagher was 20th with a time of 1:52.25.

As for Saturday’s Slalom results:

The Fillies had four finish in the top 25 with Catherine Lovera leading the way in 6th place with a time of 1:35.72.

Kik Hayano and Gill Growney were 14th and 15th with times of 1:56.88 and 1:58.18.

Taylor Dye was 21st with a time of 2:06.28.

The Broncs would have six finish in the top 25 with Sterling Banks leading the way finishing 8th, with a time of 1:31.48.

Logan Ross was 9th with a time of 1:33.31.

Ryan Decker was 15th with a time of 1:41.46.

Aidan Gallagher was 20th with a time of 1:56.18.

Joren Vipperman was 22nd and Elijah Cook was 24th.
