Filly Softball Stumbles in the Opening Round at State

The Cody Filly Softball team would open up State Tournament play on Thursday as they were pitted against the No. 4 team out of the East, Laramie.
It was a rough go of things for the Fillies as they would drop their contest 14-1. The loss snaps Cody’s 16-game win streak.
The Fillies were held to just 4 hits in the game.
Up Next: Cody will now travel through the losers bracket. Up first they face Rock Springs Friday. First pitch now scheduled for 12 noon.
