Filly XC Runs Away with Regional Title, Broncs Finish 2nd

The Cody Cross Country teams were in Lander for the Class 3A West Regional on Thursday.

The Cody Fillies are Regional Tournament Champions.

Both teams would perform exceptionally. The Fillies ran away with the team title, literally, while the Broncs would finish in 2^nd.

Starting things off with a look at the Fillies who had 6 runners finish in the top 15. Taylen Stinson led the way placing 2^nd individually with a time of 20:39. Mercedes Jackson was 5^th with a time of 21:20. Keira Jackson was 8^th with Ava Stafford 9^th. Sadie Wachob was 12^th with Zelma Rudd 13^th.

As for the Broncs, they had 4 runners finish in the top 15. Charlie Hulbert led the way, finishing 3rd individually with a time of 17:22. Ben Stewart was 5^th with a time of 17:45. Riley Nielson finished in 10^th with David Juergens 14^th.

Following all the action both teams will now travel to Wyoming Indian for the 2022 State Championship race. State takes place Saturday October 22^nd.
