Five Warrior Swimmers Qualify For State During First Weekend

The Worland Warrior Boys Swimming and Diving team began their season this past weekend.
Friday the Warriors would take a short-handed team to Powell for the Powell Quad against Cody, Powell, and Newcastle.
Worland finished 3rd at the meet.
Gage Stanek Qualified in the 200 Freestyle and the 100 Backstroke.
Wyatt Whitlock Qualified in the 200 IM and the 100 Butterfly.
Canton Green Qualified in the 100 Butterfly.
Tre Bennett Qualified in the 100 Breaststroke.
Walker Cooper Qualified in the 50 Free and the 100 Free.
Jack Bishop would set a personal record in the 100 Breaststroke.
Saturday the Warriors were scheduled to attend the Rawlins Pentathalon, but with weather and a short-handed team the Worland Boys Swim Team redirected and attended the Cody Pentathalon instead.
Five teams were at the Cody Meet: Buffalo, Cody, Powell, Riverton, and Worland.

Canton Green would add 3 more events to his list of Qualifiers. 100 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, and the 50 Free.
Gage Stanek also added 3 events to his list. 100 Butterfly, 100 Free, and 50 Free.
