Foreclosure Counseling Available This Friday At Park County Library
Written by Andrew-Rossi on October 8, 2019
If anyone you know is facing foreclosure, you may have an opportunity to save your home this Friday.
Beth Skidmore, the Wyoming Housing Network’s foreclosure counselor, will be in Cody on
October 11 to meet with anyone interested in foreclosure prevention services. No appointment necessary.
The Wyoming Housing Network offers foreclosure counseling free of charge to anyone in need of their services. They work with lenders to get better options. Homeowners lower their odds of foreclosure by at least 30% if they work with a HUD approved foreclosure counselor, and also have a much higher chance of a loan medication. The Network also collaborates with the Wyoming Attorney General’s office to provide homeowners facing foreclosure with additional resources.
The Wyoming Housing Network also stresses that you should never pay for foreclosure counseling. Any person or entity require money for counseling is a scam and must be avoided.
Beth Skidmore will be at the Park County Library on Oct 11th from 10 am to 1 pm. No appointments are necessary. Mrs. Skidmore can be reached at 307-233-8511, or the Wyoming Housing Network at 307-472-5843.
