Fundraiser to Support New Cath Lab

A fundraiser next month will help to pay for the new heart catheterization lab at West Park Hospital.
The cath lab, which may be the only such facility in the nation that’s attached to a critical access hospital, could be ready to serve patients as early as next week. However, according to Cody Regional Health Foundation and Patient Experience Director AnnaLea Avery, they won’t have full services available until they complete the hiring process.
In order to meet the costs of acquiring this state of the art facility, a fundraiser is set for March 24th. Avery says the “Spin Cody” event will raise money for both the Cody Regional Health Foundation and the Cody Recreation Foundation. The day will include multiple teams of bike riders competing in 20 minute heats on stationary bikes, as well as music, door prizes, and a sense of fun and friendly competition.
The deadline to sign up for the event is February 23rd, and registration forms can be found on the Cody Regional Health Foundation’s website.
