Average retail gasoline prices in Wyoming have risen 2.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.27/g yesterday.
Wyoming still averages lower gas prices than the rest of the nation, which is currently sitting at $2.40/gallon – that’s according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com. By comparison, average prices in Billings are at $2.32 per gallon.
Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst for GasBuddy.com says the national average gasoline price climbed to its highest level since September 5, 2015, which he points out is, quote, “supported by last week’s decline in oil inventories and pressure from geopolitical tensions,” endquote.
