Governor Gordon Talks Energy & Biden Agenda on KODI

Governor Mark Gordon says fossil fuels have “no certain future” in Wyoming if the Biden Administration continues to prevent new exploration for more resources.
Governor Gordon was live in an interview with Mac Watson on KODI’s Mac in the Morning show on Thursday, March 24. In the interview, the governor says there is “no certain future” for Wyoming energy if the federal government insists the state relies exclusively on renewable energy – fossil fuels are needed for a practical energy future.
“Here in Wyoming, we’ve done much better than any other state with our wildlife management, with our resource management, and so there are timings that are absolutely imperative to be able to move forward. And what (the Biden Administration fossil fuel policy) has done is brought our domestic industry to a stop because there’s no certain future.”
In addition to discussing energy, Governor Gordon talked about the Wyoming Legislature’s success in the 2022 Budget Session and how he and other Republican governors are trying to counter rising gas prices. Governor Gordon also commented on the 150th anniversary of Yellowstone National Park.
